The punk rock and new wave scene of the early 1980s inspired Erik to start dressing hair. He began his career apprenticing under Chip Wood of Looker Hair Group. His career has spanned three decades, yet the thing he likes most about what he does is “the instant gratification of a client who is pleased with my work; who looks at the final look and you can tell they have an emotional boost.” Pretty humble words coming from a stylist who has so much published work, as well as fashion show and educator experience.

Erik is a flawless haircutter, amazing colorist and extensionist. Erik is a magician when it comes to hairdressing and is constantly evolving as a stylist. Always both current and classic, the looks that come from his chair are as diverse as his clientele, yet they all have one thing in common… beautiful hair. Erik has an incredible ability to understand what a client wants when they aren’t sure how to explain or ask for what they’d like. He has three sons, and enjoys discovering new music, fine dining and skateboarding. .
