The Artist

David is a true artist at heart. The beautiful graffiti art that adorns the walls of Honeycomb are only a small part of his artful contribution to the salon. His hairdressing approach is classic, yet current. His clientele is as diverse as it gets, yet David takes the time to listen and formulate a look that suits the client’s personal style and profession. He is an master hair cutter, able to work with all hair types and textures. His ability to tame coarse, curly hair is second to none, his men’s cuts are amazing and he is a talented corrective cutter as well.

David often freehands different patterns and shapes into the undercut of a bob or a men’s cut. (It’s something to see.) He is also an advanced colorist, and was part of a team of stylists that formulated a color line that won the coveted “Stylists Choice” award 5 years in a row.  He has travelled extensively both as a platform artist and an educator for different haircare brands, and we are lucky that he calls Honeycomb his home. In his free time he likes to practice different art mediums, including street art, and has an impressive collection of minerals, crystals and fossils..
